PGA Jr League

PGA Jr League is a team oriented program for youth ages 8-13 years old. All PGA Jr. League games are played in a two-person scramble format. This means that both players in a pair hit drives. The best shot is selected, then each player plays from the selected spot, and this process continues until the ball is holed. The scramble format is key in allowing everyone to hit shots and contribute to the team. PGA Jr. League utilizes match play scoring, which focuses on performance vs. a score-to-par as is traditional with golf.

SPD Jr Golf Camps

The Springfield Park District Junior Golf Camps consist of 9 hours of instruction by PGA & LPGA Professionals that will cover all facets of golf including etiquette, Rules of Golf, putting, chipping, and full swing instruction as well as an opportunity to play in a scramble format (amount of time on the course varies by age). There are 3 camps scheduled throughout the summer of 2025:

• June 2-5 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Lincoln Greens & Bergen GC
• June 16-19 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Lincoln Greens & Bergen GC
• July 21-25 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Lincoln Greens & Bergen GC

Pasfield Summer Jr Golf League

Pasfield Junior Golf League is an eight-week summer program . This league provides junior golfers the opportunity to play in a weekly organized nine-hole golf league with various formats of play. This is NOT an instruction based program. Some experience on the course is highly recommended. Parents are asked to assist whenever possible in escorting the kids around the course.

Pasfield Fall Jr Golf League

Pasfield Fall Junior Golf League is a seven week program on Wednesday’s after school. This league provides junior golfers the opportunity to play in a weekly organized nine-hole golf league with various formats of play. This is NOT an instruction based program. Some experience on the course is highly recommended. Parents are asked to assist whenever possible in escorting the kids around the course.
